Office Information in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic

At this time the Plymouth County District Attorneys Office remains open and fully operational. As always, we will continue to diligently investigate cases and prepare cases for trial. If you have an emergency that requires immediate assistance of the police call 911.

Due to the Coronavirus and the Courthouse mitigation and minimization efforts, most cases will not proceed to trial and most witnesses and victims will not need to appear at the courthouses from now until after April 21, 2020, pending further order from the Supreme Judicial Court and Trial Court Department. We will post further information here as we receive it from the courts with respect to rescheduling cases.

If your case already has a date scheduled between today and April 21, 2020, you will receive a notice in the mail or a telephone call, or both, from our office to provide you the new date for your court appearance.

Undergraduate Internship Information for Spring Semester 2020

All Spring Semester 2020 Undergraduate Internships have been suspended until further notice.

In light of the Governor’s Declaration, Court leaders have closed the Trial Courts to the public for Monday and Tuesday, March 16 & 17. We urge all court users and court staff to be vigilant in applying social distancing and hygiene precautions to mitigate spread of the coronavirus.
