BROCKTON – State Police and Brockton Police arrested 25 people on outstanding warrants this morning, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz announced.
At 6:00 am this morning, more than 60 members of law enforcement including the Plymouth County State Police Detectives Unit, Brockton Police, the State Police Gang Unit, the State Police Commonwealth Interstate Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team, State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, the FBI, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department, Massachusetts Parole and the US Marshall’s Office met in Brockton and executed arrest warrants in and around the city of Brockton.
As a result, 25 people were arrested. “Law enforcement at all levels are working daily to combat crime in the city of Brockton,” DA Cruz said. “I commend the work of the State Police, Brockton Police and and all of the agencies who participated this morning. We remain dedicated to impacting public safety in this city, and with the Brockton Fair in town this week, State Police and Brockton Police will continue to make their presence known to ensure this remains a safe and fun summer week for all residents.”
The men and women arrested today had outstanding warrants on charges including: Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A, Larceny, Credit Card Theft, Assault, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Sexual Conduct for a Fee and Motor Vehicle Violations.
The following defendants were arrested as a result of this morning’s sweep and were scheduled to be arraigned in Brockton District Court:
