Community Engagement Events-2025

Ad oggi, il procuratore distrettuale Tim Cruz ha ottenuto oltre 27 milioni di dollari in finanziamenti per le comunità della contea di Plymouth. Sia all'interno che all'esterno dell'aula di tribunale, il procuratore distrettuale Cruz e il suo staff lavorano duramente per sostenere e sensibilizzare i residenti della contea di Plymouth affinché possano proteggersi meglio. 

Il procuratore distrettuale Cruz e il suo staff conducono regolarmente corsi di formazione sulla sicurezza informatica, programmi di sensibilizzazione su droghe e alcol e presentazioni sulle relazioni tra adolescenti a studenti e genitori, in modo che possano fare scelte intelligenti. Attraverso la sua iniziativa sui traumi infantili, il procuratore distrettuale Cruz continua a formare le scuole sul suo programma "Maneggiare con cura" e su altre pratiche sensibili ai traumi per servire meglio i bambini con esperienze infantili avverse (ACE) e quelli che sono a rischio di droga. Inoltre, il procuratore distrettuale Cruz ha creato e implementato il programma dei cani da conforto della contea di Plymouth, che consente ai cani da conforto di essere disponibili ad assistere non solo nella loro comunità, ma in tutte le comunità della contea di Plymouth.

Il procuratore distrettuale Cruz lavora per proteggere gli anziani in collaborazione con i programmi TRIAD della contea. Durante la pandemia, il procuratore distrettuale Cruz ha organizzato regolarmente corsi di formazione virtuale per gli anziani, per fornire loro informazioni e risorse su come proteggersi dai truffatori.

Il procuratore distrettuale Cruz sostiene vari programmi di giustizia riparativa e collabora con lo sceriffo della contea di Plymouth per organizzare fiere del lavoro per coloro che sono stati coinvolti nella giustizia.

Il procuratore distrettuale Cruz collabora anche con gruppi della comunità per affrontare problemi come la violenza domestica, il consumo di alcolici da parte di minorenni, gli oppioidi e gli abusi sugli anziani, nel tentativo di rendere la contea di Plymouth un luogo sicuro in cui vivere e lavorare.

  • The Rochester TRIAD’s Annual New Year’s Eve Luncheon Celebration-2026

    Rochester Triad NYE 4Ushering out 2025 to welcome in 2026 today at the Annual New Year’s Eve Luncheon at the Rochester TRIAD. We look forward to another year of collaborating with Rochester COA Director Eric Poulin and the many volunteers that work with us to keep seniors safe and sound.

     

     

     

     

     

  • Santa Clause is coming to the Range- Hingham

    Range 2025 1The Plymouth County Comfort Dogs Program was invited to conduct a training and a demonstration during this annual community event. Children from all across Plymouth County were invited to participate in this annual holiday event. Festivities also included touch a truck, letters to Santa, Hot Chocolate and cookies.

    Special thanks to our comfort dog teams: Hingham Officer Tom Ford & Opry, Hull Officer Leeanne Marshalsea & Peddocks from Hull, Rockland Officer Ethan Schnable & Kinley for participating in this event.

     

     

     

     

  • Shop With A Cop- Halifax Police Department

    Shop with a cop 5The Plymouth County Comfort Dogs Program was invited to train at the first annual Shop with a Cop event at Walmart in Halifax. The comfort dog teams and the Halifax Police Department were able to spend time with the kids shopping, laughing and joking while everyone enjoyed delicious pizza from Cape Cod Cafe. A huge thank you to Halifax Police and Walmart for sponsoring this event and allowing us to shop in their store.

    A big shout out to Cape Cod Cafe for generously donating the pizzas to feed everyone. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

    Another big shout out to McQuarrie Towing & Recovery for stopping by and surprising the kids with a special donation that made their experience even more memorable.

    Without the support of everyone involved, this event would not be possible. The Halifax Police Department is looking forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.

    Hingham Holiday Luncheon 2

    District Attorney Cruz and several Plymouth County Comfort Dogs and their handlers joined Chief David Jones, SRO Tom Ford and Hingham Comfort Dog Opry at the annual Hingham Police Holiday Luncheon for Seniors. Seniors were treated to a holiday lunch courtesy of the Hingham Police Association. DA Cruz and Chief Jones informed the seniors about our comfort dogs program.
