Community Engagement Events-2025

Hasta la fecha el Fiscal de Distrito Tim Cruz ha traído más de 27 millones de dólares en subvenciones para las comunidades del Condado de Plymouth. Tanto dentro como fuera de la sala del tribunal, el Fiscal de Distrito Cruz y su personal están trabajando duro para abogar y crear conciencia para los residentes del Condado de Plymouth para que puedan protegerse mejor. 

El Fiscal Cruz y su personal llevan a cabo rutinariamente entrenamientos de Seguridad Cibernética, programas de Concientización sobre Drogas y Alcohol y presentaciones de Relaciones Adolescentes a estudiantes y padres, para que puedan tomar decisiones inteligentes. A través de su Iniciativa de Trauma Infantil, el Fiscal Cruz continúa capacitando a las escuelas en su programa "Manejar con Cuidado" y otras prácticas sensibles al trauma para servir mejor a los niños con Experiencias Adversas en la Infancia (ACE), y los que están en peligro de drogas. Además, el Fiscal Cruz ha creado e implementado el programa de Perros de Confort del Condado de Plymouth que permite que los perros de confort estén disponibles para ayudar no sólo en su comunidad, sino en todas las comunidades a través del Condado de Plymouth.

El fiscal Cruz trabaja para proteger a los mayores junto con los programas TRIAD del condado. Durante la pandemia, el fiscal Cruz organizó formaciones virtuales periódicas para personas mayores con el fin de proporcionarles información y recursos sobre cómo protegerse de los estafadores.

El Fiscal del Distrito Cruz apoya varios programas de justicia restaurativa y se asocia con el Sheriff del Condado de Plymouth para celebrar ferias de empleo para los que han estado involucrados en la justicia.

El fiscal Cruz también colabora con grupos comunitarios para abordar cuestiones como la violencia doméstica, el consumo de alcohol por menores de edad, los opioides y el abuso de ancianos en un esfuerzo por hacer del condado de Plymouth un lugar seguro para vivir y trabajar.

  • The Rochester TRIAD’s Annual New Year’s Eve Luncheon Celebration-2026

    Rochester Triad NYE 4Ushering out 2025 to welcome in 2026 today at the Annual New Year’s Eve Luncheon at the Rochester TRIAD. We look forward to another year of collaborating with Rochester COA Director Eric Poulin and the many volunteers that work with us to keep seniors safe and sound.

     

     

     

     

     

  • Santa Clause is coming to the Range- Hingham

    Range 2025 1The Plymouth County Comfort Dogs Program was invited to conduct a training and a demonstration during this annual community event. Children from all across Plymouth County were invited to participate in this annual holiday event. Festivities also included touch a truck, letters to Santa, Hot Chocolate and cookies.

    Special thanks to our comfort dog teams: Hingham Officer Tom Ford & Opry, Hull Officer Leeanne Marshalsea & Peddocks from Hull, Rockland Officer Ethan Schnable & Kinley for participating in this event.

     

     

     

     

  • Shop With A Cop- Halifax Police Department

    Shop with a cop 5The Plymouth County Comfort Dogs Program was invited to train at the first annual Shop with a Cop event at Walmart in Halifax. The comfort dog teams and the Halifax Police Department were able to spend time with the kids shopping, laughing and joking while everyone enjoyed delicious pizza from Cape Cod Cafe. A huge thank you to Halifax Police and Walmart for sponsoring this event and allowing us to shop in their store.

    A big shout out to Cape Cod Cafe for generously donating the pizzas to feed everyone. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

    Another big shout out to McQuarrie Towing & Recovery for stopping by and surprising the kids with a special donation that made their experience even more memorable.

    Without the support of everyone involved, this event would not be possible. The Halifax Police Department is looking forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.

  • Hingham Police Association’s Annual Holiday Luncheon for Seniors

    Hingham Holiday Luncheon 2

    District Attorney Cruz and several Plymouth County Comfort Dogs and their handlers joined Chief David Jones, SRO Tom Ford and Hingham Comfort Dog Opry at the annual Hingham Police Holiday Luncheon for Seniors. Seniors were treated to a holiday lunch courtesy of the Hingham Police Association. DA Cruz and Chief Jones informed the seniors about our comfort dogs program.
