POSITION TITLE: Child Abuse Advocate

SUMMARY:
피해자 증인 지원 프로그램의 주요 목표는 다음과 같습니다: (1) 피해자가 피해로부터 회복하고 안전감을 회복하도록 지원, (2) 범죄의 여파와 형사 사법 시스템 참여와 관련된 재피해 수준을 감소, (3) 피해자, 증인 및 가족에게 매사추세츠 피해자 권리장전(M.G.L. 258B장)에 명시된 권리 및 서비스를 보장하고 사무실 정책에 따라 법원 절차 전반에 걸쳐 지원, 정보 및 옹호를 제공함으로써 형사 사건의 기소를 지원하는 것입니다.
피해자 증인 옹호관(VWA)은 주로 형사 사법 시스템 전반에 걸쳐 피해자, 증인 및 그 가족을 위한 위기 평가 및 개입, 정보 및 의뢰, 지원 상담 및 법정 옹호 서비스를 촉진하는 업무를 담당합니다. 또한 옹호관은 사회 서비스 기관과 연결하고자 하는 개인에게 추천, 교육, 리소스를 제공합니다. 이들은 형사 기소 시 정서적 지원과 형사 재판 절차에 대한 정보를 제공하고 가족에게 지속적인 업데이트를 제공합니다. VWA는 피해자가 피해자 권리 장전에 따라 받을 수 있는 권리와 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 해야 합니다.
The Child Abuse Advocates attend SAIN interviews at the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) and work with the CAC staff and ADAs to provide comprehensive services to children and their families who are victims of violent crime. The Child Abuse Advocates have both an investigative caseload and an active court caseload.
자격:
필수입니다:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in victim services, criminal justice system, or related social service field.
- Experience in child abuse, trauma, crisis intervention, case management, and safety planning.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong desire to work in a collegial and team-focused environment.

· Strong written and oral communication skills.
선호합니다: · Experience working with children who have been victimized or witnessed trauma · Experience in crisis intervention, case management, and safety planning · Working knowledge of resources and providers in Plymouth County. · Proficiency in a second language, preferably Spanish, Haitian-Creole, Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole or Vietnamese. |
