Three Arrested, Fentanyl, Cocaine, Cash Seized after State Police Drug Investigation in Brockton

BROCKTON – Three people are under arrest and Massachusetts State Police seized Fentanyl, Cocaine and cash after an investigation into drug dealing in Brockton, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced.

During the month of June, members of the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office conducted an investigation into a fatal Fentanyl overdose in Plymouth County. As a result, officers identified Dakim “CJ” Simpson, 21, as an alleged Fentanyl distributor, selling narcotics out of his residence at 41 Teele Street in Brockton.

State Police sought and received a knock and announce search warrant for that address and a motor vehicle. At 6:00 a.m. this morning, State Police Detectives, along with Brockton Police, executed the warrant and police made entry into 41 Teele Street without incident.

Police seized plastic bags containing suspected Fentanyl weighing approximately 73.7 grams and Cocaine weighing approximately 8 grams. State Police also secured more than $28,000 in cash and drug distribution paraphernalia including, scales, plastic bags and cell phones.  

State Police placed Dakim Simpson, Kimberly Johnson, 40, under arrest on numerous drug charges. Jarvis Williams, 26, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Assault and Battery on a Family Member.

The three are scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Monday in Brockton District Court.
