The CSEC Task Force was originally created in 2017. The mission of the Task Force is to increase the awareness, identification, and prevention of CSEC; collaborate and share information to improve interventions throughout our community; identify and increase access to trauma-informed services for victims of CSEC or those at risk; hold exploiters accountable through prosecution; and create a more victim-centered and trauma-informed culture in Plymouth County.
The goals of this Task Force are as follows:
- Enhance Plymouth County’s CSEC Protocol and the multidisciplinary team (MDT) response
- Increase training regarding specialized and/or vulnerable youth populations including male victims, LGBTQ+ youth, and homeless/runaway youth
