The Plymouth County Comfort Dogs Program was invited to train at the first annual Shop with a Cop event at Walmart in Halifax. The comfort dog teams and the Halifax Police Department were able to spend time with the kids shopping, laughing and joking while everyone enjoyed delicious pizza from Cape Cod Cafe. A huge thank you to Halifax Police and Walmart for sponsoring this event and allowing us to shop in their store.

Another big shout out to McQuarrie Towing & Recovery for stopping by and surprising the kids with a special donation that made their experience even more memorable.
Without the support of everyone involved, this event would not be possible. The Halifax Police Department is looking forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.
