2018 White Ribbon Night Ambassador- Love Life Now Foundation, Inc. – February 23, 2018
District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz was recognized as the 2018 White Ribbon Night Ambassador by the Love Life Now Foundation, Inc. He was awarded this honor for:
- His commitment to protect victims of domestic violence, witnesses and their families- believing we all have the right to live without fear.
- His Domestic Violence Unit which specializes in domestic violence prosecutions and advocating on behalf of victims.
- For hosting numerous trainings for law enforcement on domestic violence issues.
- For training schools on how to assist child victims and witnesses of crime, including domestic violence in the home, through his Childhood Trauma Initiative.

- District Attorney Timothy Cruz received the Excellence in Public Service Award for his innovative strategies to reduce violent crimes in Plymouth County, along with his highly successful partnership with BAMSI through the Plymouth County Children´s Advocacy Center.
District Attorney Tim Cruz is Honored as a White Ribbon Champion – March 2, 2010
- On March 2, 2010 in celebration of the third annual statewide White Ribbon Day at the Statehouse, District Attorney Cruz was named one of the few White Ribbon Day Champions for the year and asked to lead the hall in the recitation of the White Ribbon Day pledge.
- Along with his participation in the State House event, the District Attorney has been a White Ribbon Day Ambassadors since the statewide day began three years ago. Being a White Ribbon Day Ambassador means the District Attorney has joined the statewide campaign to serve as an example to others.
- The District Attorney has been serving as an example to others in his own county for the past ten years as the co-chair to the Plymouth County White Ribbon Campaign. The District Attorney shares this position with the Plymouth County Sheriff Joseph McDonald Jr.

- District Attorney Timothy Cruz was named this year´s Community Service Recipient, in recognition of his service as District Attorney and for the contributions that he has made to his community. The honor was presented at a reception held at Thorny Lea Golf Club, in Brockton, MA.

- Verizon Wireless has recognized the Plymouth County District Attorney´s Office, led by Timothy J. Cruz, with a “HopeLine® Hero” award for their tremendous support of the company´s program to support survivors of domestic violence.
- The Verizon Wireless HopeLine® program collects no-longer-used wireless phones, batteries and accessories in any condition from any wireless service provider through phone drives and at Communications Stores nationwide. Phones that can be refurbished are sold and those without value are disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. Proceeds are used to provide wireless phones, airtime and cash grants to local shelters and non-profit organizations that focus on domestic violence prevention and awareness.
