The Superior Court Division of the District Attorney’s Office is comprised of experienced trial attorneys responsible for prosecuting major felonies in the Superior Court, including such offenses as: murder; rape; armed robbery; narcotics; firearms crimes; human trafficking; domestic violence; motor vehicle homicide; child abuse; property offenses; arson; and civil rights violations.
Attorneys within the Division also handle cases in a number of additional areas, such as: unsolved homicide investigations; gang violence; elder abuse; opiate trafficking; and white collar crimes.
Within the Superior Court Division, there are specialized teams, including: the Family Protection Unit and the Community Prosecutions Unit.
Superior Court prosecutors investigate cases at the Grand Jury and work closely with the State Police, municipal police departments, and federal investigative agencies.
Superior Court ADAs administer the Project Safe Neighborhoods initiative; oversee the operation of the Children’s Advocacy Center; collaborate with domestic violence prevention programs; provide training to our partners in the community; and work closely with various law enforcement task forces.
There are two Superior Court locations in Plymouth County – Brockton and Plymouth.
Superior Court attorneys support and assist victims and their families, as well as each of the twenty seven communities served by the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, in prosecuting the most serious and complex cases within our office.
