The White Ribbon Campaign is a global movement working to end male violence against women and girls.
The White Ribbon Campaign was formed in November, 1991 as a response to the Montreal Massacre of female students at Ecole Polytechnique on December 6, 1989.
In 2003, District Attorney Tim Cruz brought the White Ribbon Campaign to Plymouth County. DA Cruz and his staff have sponsored multiple presentations of the White Ribbon Campaign through high school presentations and county-wide community events.
The White Ribbon Campaign is active in over 60 nations.
