BROCKTON – MSP and Lakeville Police are investigating the apparent drowning of a 68 year-old male, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced.
Yesterday, at approximately 5:14 p.m., Massachusetts Environmental Police were on scene conducting routine patrols and were notified that a male had been reported missing in the water. A search commenced, and the male, identified as Todd Page, was located in the water 50-75 yards from the shoreline. Page was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing. The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
