Today, February 1, 2022, I was honored to join Mayor Sullivan and the newly formed African American Association of Brockton in hoisting the African American flag at City Hall.
This flag raising honors Black History Month, and reminds us all of the struggles and triumphs of African Americans throughout our history.
I was proud to bring the Liberty Tree display that was donated to our office to the ceremony to share its history.
