State Police Continue to Investigate Non-Fatal Highway Shooting

BROCKTON – State Police Detectives assigned to Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz’s Office continue to investigate the non-fatal shooting of a motorist driving along Route 24 on Monday evening.

At approximately 6:35 on Monday, West Bridgewater Police received multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting that occurred involving a motorist driving along Route 24 South in West Bridgewater. The 44-year-old male victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton where he was treated and released. The victim’s vehicle, a Saturn SUV, was towed to the State Police Lab in Lakeville to be processed.

At this time, State Police are continuing their investigation. This incident does not appear to be a random act of violence. Any motorist driving in that area on Monday, or anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact State Police Detectives at 508-894-2600.
