Massachusetts State Police, Brockton Police Seek Public Assistance In Identifying Car Involved In Fatal Hit And Run

BROCKTON — Massachusetts State Police Detectives along with Brockton Police continue to investigate a fatal hit and run last night in Brockton that left a woman dead, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced,

At approximately 6:16 p.m. last night, Brockton Police received a 911 call for a motor vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the area of 259 Pleasant Street. Brockton Police and emergency medical personnel responded. The female victim was located unresponsive. The victim was transported to Good Samaritan, where she was pronounced dead of her injuries. The victim has been identified as 72 year-old Marie Rose Bienaime of Brockton.

As a result of the ongoing investigation by members of the Massachusetts State Police and Brockton Police, detectives have identified a motor vehicle from surveillance video near to the scene of the crash. The car is green in color and has a broken tail light.
