Massachusetts State Police and Brockton Police are actively investigating the overnight fatal shooting of a 16 year-old in that city, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced.
At approximately 1:39 a.m., State Police assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office were contacted by Brockton Police and notified of a fatal shooting at 40 Sprague Avenue and an investigation commenced. The male victim was pronounced deceased on scene of an apparent gunshot wound. According to witnesses, a large crowd was present at 40 Sprague Avenue for a party. The male victim is not being identified at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
