BROCKTON – Massachusetts State Police and Brockton Police are investigating the shooting of a man last evening, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced.
At approximately 6:17 p.m. last night, Brockton Police were contacted about a shooting in the vicinity of 28 Lexington Street and Green Street. Upon arrival, first responders located a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital before being medflighted to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston where he remains for treatment. The victim is not being identified at this time.
Brockton Police contacted the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and an investigation commenced. The investigation is active and ongoing, at this time. Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to contact Brockton Police detectives at 508-941-0200.
