BROCKTON – A man has pleaded not guilty to charges that he sexually assaulted a child under 14, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz and Abington Police Chief John Bonney have announced.
Justin Flores, 20, of Poughkeepsie, NY, pleaded not guilty today in Brockton District Court to one count each of Rape of a Child, Enticement of a Minor, and Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child Under 14. Flores was held on $75,000 cash bail with the conditions that he stay and have no contact with the victim in this case.
The arrest of Flores follows an active investigation by Abington Police into allegations that Flores connected with a child under the age of 14 online, met up with the victim in-person, and on two occasions, sexually assaulted the victim.
As a result of the investigation, Abington Police sought and obtained an arrest warrant for Flores and he was taken into custody yesterday at Logan International Airport.
Flores is next scheduled to appear in court on June 13.
