BROCKTON – Two people have been found dead in an apparent murder/suicide in Kingston, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced.
At approximately 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Kingston Police received a 911 call from a family member who reported two people deceased at the home at 257 Elm Street. Kingston Police responded and located a 45 year-old male outside the home with an apparent fatal gunshot wound. A 45 year-old female was found inside the home with an apparent fatal gunshot wound.
Kingston Police contacted Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, and an investigation commenced. That investigation is active and ongoing at this time. Preliminarily, investigators found this was not a random act of violence and there is no threat to public safety.
