BROCKTON- A female pedestrian was struck and killed in Brockton Saturday night, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced.
Just after 9 pm Saturday night, Brockton Police received a 911 call for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle that was involved in a crash with another vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and Legion Parkway. Brockton Fire and emergency medical personnel responded and performed lifesaving measures on the 32-year-old female victim. She was transported to Brockton Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The victim is not being identified at this time.
Brockton Police notified State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and an investigation commenced. The operators of both vehicles involved remained on scene. The drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation by State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, State Police CARS Unit and Brockton Police.
