BROCKTON – Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and Wareham Police are investigating an unattended death after bones were discovered in a wooded area, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced.
At approximately 1:00 p.m. yesterday, Wareham Police contacted State Police Detectives regarding the discovery of human remains in a thickly wooded area at #3005 Cranberry Highway.
The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner took jurisdiction and will determine the cause and manner of death. Preliminarily, the bones appear to be male and there are no indications of foul play in the death.
