Massachusetts State Police, Brockton Police Seek Help In Locating Car In Fatal Hit And Run

BROCKTON – Massachusetts State Police and Brockton Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the motor vehicle believed to have been used in a fatal pedestrian crash, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced.

Yesterday, at approximately 10 p.m., members of the Plymouth County State Police Detective Unit were notified by Brockton Police of a fatal hit and run motor vehicle vs. pedestrian crash in the area of 108 Forest Avenue in Brockton.

A male victim was located and medflighted to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead of his injuries. He is not being identified pending notification of next of kin.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Below are images captured on surveillance video  footage taken from the scene of a white SUV at the time the pedestrian was fatally struck. The motor vehicle likely sustained possible damage to the front driver’s side. Anyone with information is urged to contact MSP Trooper Cory Melo at (781) 857-8350, or Brockton Police.
