This National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day we are thankful for our Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit, and for all the local police departments in Plymouth County.
Every day we are grateful to the men and women who choose to put a uniform on and risk their lives to protect ours.

Inspiring afternoon listening to Honorable Judge Serge Georges share stories of his improbable life journey, growing up in Dorchester, to serving on the SJC.
Today’s Black History Celebration at Brockton Superior Court also allowed for 2 of our ADAs to catch up with their Suffolk University Professor.

The Raising of the Lithuanian Flag- 2023
On February 16, 1918, Lithuania proclaimed their independence from German rule.
Today, the City of Brockton raised the Lithuanian flag to mark this day in history. 🇱🇹

Dedication of the Sgt. Michael C. Chesna Memorial Rink- Hanover, MA
Bittersweet moment under beautiful blue skies as we celebrated Hanover Day today and dedicated the hockey rink to Sgt. Michael C. Chesna, who dedicated himself to protecting public safety, and died doing so.

Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The 31st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast celebration was hosted by the Brockton Chapter of the NAACP. The breakfast took place at the Conference Center at Massasoit, and the theme of the morning was “Reclaim, Rejoice and Renew”.

The Children’s Advocacy Center Room Dedications
District Attorney Tim Cruz dedicated two rooms at the CAC in honor of two employees who worked tirelessly for families in need.
The Michelle A. Crossen Forensic Interview Room and the Maureen Sullivan Waiting Room were dedicated during a remembrance ceremony in both of their honor on December 8, 2016.
Relatives and friends of both Michelle and Maureen were in attendance.
