Today we held our 2026 Handle with Care conference at Bridgewater State University. Our thanks to Assistant Vice President for Student Life, Dr. Christopher Frazer for kicking things off.
Dr. Leslie Sattler, PH.d, from Bridgewater State University and the Plymouth County Comfort Dogs Program handlers shared research on the impact comfort dogs have, especially on children exposed to trauma, and their positive impact on school climate at our 2026 Handle With Care Conference.
Carver Superintendent Scott Knief and Adjustment Counselors Nicole Bartlett and Sean Sullivan discussed how Carver has implemented Handle with Care.
Marcus Puleo from our Office’s Children’s Advocacy Center shared the trauma informed practices we utilize to investigate child abuse.
