PLYMOUTH – A Duxbury woman has been held on high bail after she was arraigned on charges that she allegedly left the scene of a crash where a woman was killed, Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz has announced.

On Sunday, June 9 at approximately 5:37 pm, the Duxbury Police Department received multiple 911 calls for a pedestrian struck in the area of 641 Washington Street in Duxbury. Police, fire and emergency personnel responded and located a female victim unresponsive on the ground. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures and the victim was transported to South Shore Hospital for treatment. Yesterday after, the victim succumbed to her injuries. She has been identified as 46 year-old Andrea Gordon of Duxbury.

On Monday, Duxbury Police requested the assistance of State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and an investigation commenced. Through witness interviews and evidence collected at the scene where Gordon was found, investigators determined that a Dodge Ram pickup truck struck Gordon as she ran and fled the scene. Late Monday, investigators located the Dodge Ram pickup with damage at a home in Duxbury. On Tuesday, State Police obtained an arrest warrant for Kristina Blackmore (DOB: 10/07/80) of Duxbury, charging her with Leaving the Scene of Injury Causing Death, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Marked Lanes Violation and Speeding. She pleaded not guilty to the charges at her arraignment today in Plymouth District Court.

The Commonwealth requested that Blackmore be held on $100,000 cash bail, that she surrender her passport and not operate a motor vehicle. Judge Cornelius Moriarty set bail at $10,000 with the Commonwealth’s conditions. Blackmore is due back in court on July 15, 2019.

The crash remains under investigation by State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and Duxbury Police.
